What a mess!!!

My ghastly old seventies kitchen - How is this for revolting. This kitchen is the original installed in 1972. May have been all the rage then but it's now badly outdated... not to mention decrepit LOL.

Well, I'm officially kitchenless for a few days. The kitchen company arrived today and ripped out the old kitchen. Can't say I was sorry to see it go though, it was so seventies it was nauseating (see the pic... I'll put in a pic of the new kitchen when it's complete) So now the house looks like a bomb has hit it, cluttered with semi assembled kitchen cabinets and everything is covered with dust from the old kitchen being ripped out. I'll have to take a photo of the kitchen now to add with the first response... you know "Day 1 of kitchen renovation" and all that. So what are your renovation stories... any renovation disasters to talk about? Renovation dreams perhaps? Julia
