Do you shut down your cell phone when you sleep at night?

it's not my habit to shut down my mobile phone unless it's low battery and dead. I keep it open in case there's an emergency call. It is not good if we keep it near us but if we keep it away or far from us then it i guess it may not cause any harm. As long as we are aware, we can prevent things to happen like the radiation. Anyways, personally when sleeping i kept it open and i put it on the table so it will be safe. Have a nice day! Happy mylotting.

nope.. i always keep it open all day.. i moved out from my parents house so meaning i don't get to see them everyday.. in case of emergency, my line is always open for communication..

I don't turn my cellphone off. I don't want to deal with turning it on, entering the PIN and have the annoying message tone be repeated again by newly arrived messages. I just put it in silent mode so as not to disturb me in my sleep. Oh, i don't worry about the radiation because i put the one away from where I lie down to sleep.

In my country, call are free by night so, I can not shut down my cell a lot of people call me, they just profit free night calling from 11H pm to 6h am

not always but it should be shut down and kept away from your body so that you are not exposed to the radiation effect!!

I leave my phone on. First of all, I use the alarm to make sure I get up in the morning. And second of all, the only people who would call me at night would call me because they actually needed to talk to me.

I have only one CellPhone but I don't turn them off, even when I am charging because urgent call or messages might come and you'll be late to respond them...

if i had two CP, ill turn off one and turn on the other one...

oh yeah, when you sleep, just think about sleeping only and never think about work on bed, you might get insomnia in the future...

I used to shut it down when I had my first cellphone but I got bored after a while so now I am leaving it on. It usually lasts 4 or 5 days without recharging the battery if I am not doing that much with it besides phone calls and a few SMS.

But it can be a problem sometimes. Like if someone mistakes your number for someone else's and calls you at 3 o'clock in the morning. That has happened to me a few times and I don't like that at all. I need my sleep.:)

Most of the times, yes. Cell phone radiation is actually very weak - my university proved that with lots of studies and works. And have you ever watched Myth Busters? They tried to cook an egg using cell phone radiation and couldn't do it even with dozens of phones ringing at the same time. Maybe it's bad for your health in the long run, but I don't really care too much about that.
So when I turn it off it's just to save some battery power.

no i dont and i wish i did.. but i have my alarm on my cell phone.. and in case of emergencies.. but my house phone i have for emergencies too and i cant turn the ringer off of it because my home alarm is ringing with it ugh!! and both of my phone numbers get a huge amount of wrong numbers so i dont sleep well lol
