Do you shut down your cell phone when you sleep at night?

No, I always have my cell phone with me during the night. I use the cell phone as my alarm clock and it sits on my bed side table. I place the noise level to vibrate while it charges through the night. It also emits a glow and acts as a night light so it also becomes my torch. My cell is too important to turn it completely off at night.

I keep my cell phone on because that is my emergency phone for family members. I turn off the main phone because I think my chances of getting a non emergency call is greater.

i dont swicth of my phone, since there is a chance of me missing an emergency call from a friend or family. as for as the radiaion goes to tackle i would keep my phone away from my bed which may reduce the effect of radiation on me

i don't turn off my phone when i sleep at night, i use my cellphone as my wakeup alarm every morning so i have to keep it on, and i charge it will i sleep as well.
you also never know when someone will need to get in touch with you.

When I was sleeping at night I used to shut it down. I work nights now and I sleep days. I turn my landline phone off during the day when I am sleeping. I leave my cell phone on so that my family can contact me in case of an emergency.

Cell phones only emit radiation when they are being talked on. It makes no sense to shut it off, because just being on does not cause radiation.

I never switch off my phone except when I am working and I can't recieve or make calls. I use it as well as alarm clock so it is all the night on the bedside table. Many days too I can be called from work since 4 a.m. so I have to be reachable.

I don't ever turn my cell off. It is on 24/7. I do not have a home phone. Me and my boyfriends phones are our only phones so I fear that if I shut my cell phone off and there was an emergency no one would be able would be able to reach me. So, even when I sleep I keep my phone on and charging by my bed so i can hear ifit rings.

Ever since I had a phone of my own, I really don't bother shutting it off every time I go to sleep. If it loses energy while I sleep, I might as well have it charged when I wake up.

If it were really an emergency, I hope that they'd call me through the land line instead so that it would reall get through..

I don't ever turn my phone off. It is advised in the manual for my phone, but I don't do it. I guess I'm just lazy:)
