Do you shut down your cell phone when you sleep at night?

yes, when I go to sleep, I always shut down my cellphone. Because my cellphone is put around my head, I think it will hurt my health if it isnt shut down. But my husband always makes his cellphone be on including deep night. So I ask him put the cellphone away from us. He is worried others cant call him easily as usual if he shut down it if his relations or friends happen accident. But I am not worried about it. I think they can call phone and touch with us. My friend keep the cellphone be on ago. But she doesnt do so. Because others she doesnt know at all call her and interrupt her rest. She changed the habit.

The only time I turn off my cell phone is during times when I really need to have uninterrupted sleep. Sometimes I'm awakened while taking an afternoon nap, and I get really upset if it's a telemarketer or a wrong number. One time a co-worker text-messaged me to remind me about a meeting. I wouldn't have minded that, but he did it at 10 minutes past midnight!

It depends.Usially i always turn off my cellular phone before sleeping.But sometimes if i am wating for an important call or a text message i just leave it on and placed near my bedside.Sometimes i also fell asleep while having a conversation with my friends and boyfriend thru text messaging.

i generally shut my cell at night before going to sleep. earlier my friend used to call me.so I used to keep it open.now i don't

i dont turn off my phone when sleeping, but sometimes, i keep it in silent mode... but if i have to turn off a phone when sleeping, i would like to shut my husband's cellphone coz it's his phone that keeps ringing even at dawn...and it's usually I who's keeping the cell awake and not my husband...

hmm not really, due to different reasons like there might be important messages and calls coming in, if i turn it off i wont receive it...

Nope dont shut down my phone. I keep it on for basically 2 reasons. 1) I use it to tell the time in the night. I don't have any luminous clocks or any watches that I can read in the dark so my cell is perfect in case I get up in the middle of the night and need to see the time. 2) I also keep in on in case any family members need to get in touch with me for any reason what so ever. My husband keeps his off so we need at least one mode of communication that is available and open at all times. So my cells is kept on.

No not at all.I never shut down my phone at night.If the radiation affects us badly then it will be harmful at the day time too.So this is not enough reason for that....

Sure, i usually shut down my cell phone to keep me away from radiation harm and more importantly i want to maintain high-quality sleep to ensure that i will have enough energy thrown into my work

Yes I always do that.I dont like to see my battery depleted in the morning and I dont like to get a wrong number call in the middle of the night.
