Do you use your manufacturer's coupons at the store?

I always keep a selection of manufacturer's coupons with me in my handbag. Yesterday, I purchased some pain reliever and used a $2 coupon on it. It was a brand I would have purchased anyway. And, later I needed a non-prescription allergy medicine for my daughter so I went to the dollar store just down the road from me and bought some and used a $1 coupon there. These were brands that I would have bought without a coupon. Do you use manufacturer's coupons? Where do you use them? I use them at whatever stores will accept them ?

Hi jane! I do use manufacturers coupons too. I use them at
whatever store will take them. But, they won't take them at
the $1 store here. The won't take any coupons here when they
sell stuff for $1. In fact the $1 stores here are no longer
$1. The have raised their prices to $1.10 or more. They don't
allow any coupons and have never allowed them. But most other
stores will take a manufacturers coupon as long as they sell
that particular brand.

Thank you for your response, Opal26. Here where I live the dollar store still sells for a dollar, but they don't carry a lot of the items that they did. They don't accept coupons either. There is a couple of grocery stores that will double the coupons and sometimes if it is an item that you already use, you can get a good deal.

Oh yes coupons are very handy at sainsburys ,they give you extra point coupons for buying certain products but it only works if you buy that thing,but we buy bread and fruit and veg which is normally where we spend our money, we sometimes get them out of the paper or they get sent through the post,they are very handy.talk soon suzzy.

Thank you for your response on manufacturers coupons. I try to remember to use coupons on the items I always buy.
