|  just yesterday, my friend asked me to go with them because she was celebrating her birthday at krispy kreme, i didn't know that it was their opening day.. there was a long line and chairs were unavailabe.. good thing the staffs were friendly.. they provided chairs for us, anyway.. It was such a fun birthday celebration, we joked about my friend reserving the place because it was really packed, there were balloons, flowers and party hats(krispy kreme),lol, the staffs gave my friend a free box of donuts for her birthday.. It's really unexpected:)

| |  Sounds like fun! I've actually only been to Krispy Kreme once (and it was just a drive-thru). I was with a friend and her mother and had just taken a trip with them. They bought a dozen glazed donuts for me to take to my mom. I'm pretty sure we ate it in a day! They are very good, and luckily, I don't visit the place very often--or I'd be very unhealthy.

| | that's really convinient, do they sell it in boxes of 6 and 12? what about the flavors, how will you choose if it's already prepacked? I really don't like waiting in line but the service at KK here is good, they move fast so even if the line is long, it moves really quick:)
We have a lot of KK branches here that's very accessible so i guess they don't need to sell it in groceries and supermarkets.. lol:)
What i really like about them is that they give FREE donuts! lol | | | |

| |  Yup, in many places they sell them fresh just like they do in their own stores. The gas station across the street from my office got fresh ones in every morning and had about 20 varieties to choose from.
The grocery stores sell them, some of the chains, in the same way, and they all sell them in pre-packaged boxes, but those are normally all the same kind and not many varieties; glazed kreme filled, chocolate covered kreme filled, regular glazed, and cake style are the only ones I've seen that way. Oh, and donut holes.

| |  wow, how fun! I never would have thought to go to krispy kreme for a birthday party and certainly wouldn't think you could have party hats, flowers, and free donuts there. I had a friend who used to work at Krispy Kreme and would get me a few free treats and drinks there but I haven't been a fan of donuts since I was a kid...which I guess is good news for my thighs:-)

| |  Yum, Krispy Kreme! I like to go in there when the Hot Now sign is on and get one of their nice warm donuts straight off of the belt when the icing is still almost gooey.
