Has anyone here tried Dollarsurveys.net?

Thanks for your concern. I can honestly say that I am as careful as they come and I have a lot of experience as I have been doing paid surveys for quite some time. I have checked other forums and even recent discussions have described continuing payment. All that I can lose is the 20 minutes that I have already spent on the survey that I completed. I am comfortable taking that kind of risk when trying out a new program. I posted here because I am curious as to whether other myLotters use DollarSurveys and what their experience has been. If everything works out, perhaps some myLotters would be happy to hear about this program.

I will post back here with proof of payment if/when it comes. Cheers.

A quick update for everyone. I haven't received payment yet, so I checked some of the forums I am a member of to see if anyone else was experiencing any problems. One poster brought attention to a message on the Dollarsurveys.net website:

"Update November 17, 2008 We are behind on payments at this time. We expect to have payments issued by 11/30. Please do not contact us about missing payments for surveys completed after November 4th. We will be issuing payments as quickly as possible."

I'll post back on the 30th to let everyone know if I have indeed received payment. I only did one survey before I waited to see if this program was legit, so the worst that I will be out is the $1 owed for a short survey.

One of my go to PTRs just folded today. Times are tough out there and I hope this isn't a sign of a cascading affect.

Unfortunately for you, many programs available to those in the West are either not available altogether or very difficult to qualify for when it comes to participants from many developing nations. Have the recent changes to myLot's payment methods affected you? Is paypal an option for residents in your country?

yes, its available. its a good thing that happened more than a year ago i think. bloggers from the philippines made a campaign to ask paypal to include our country in their list.

That's good. Paypal is a very handy tool. Not only does it offer others an easy way of paying you for goods or services rendered, but using paypal to make purchases online can make life easier.

yes i agreee with you. its really safe to pay using paypal, you don't need to expose your credit card when purchasing on line.

I am glad that you have received payment. I still have not received the $1 payment to my paypal account for the first survey that I did. I have read on other forums that others still haven't received payment or have only received a fraction of what they are owed. An update has been posted on the DollarSurveys.net website:

Update December 3, 2008 We are still behind on payments, but have caught up a lot.We have issued payments for surveys completed up to 11/25. We expect to have all payments caught up before the holidays. Please do not contact us about payments for surveys completed AFTER 11/25.

They certainly haven't made a very good first impression with me. I don't recommend to anyone that they use DollarSurveys.net until payments are confirmed and all outstanding issues are resolved.

UPDATE: I sent DollarSurveys.net an e-mail right after I responded to oscar6 notifying them that I still hadn't received payment even though I completed my first survey over three weeks ago. I am pleased to let everyone know that upon receipt of my e-mail, DollarSurveys.net promptly sent payment to my paypal account. I have posted proof of payment in my profile. I will complete some surveys for the remainder of the week and post back here with my experience. Cheers.

If you are redirected to the DollarSurveys.net website and they page pops up that says congratulations you have completed the survey and your account has been credited, then you know that you have finished the survey properly and it was registered. Not paying members for work they have done because the survey company didn't pay DollarSurveys.net might be a legitimate excuse, but DollarSurveys.net owes it to members to notify them when this happens and to identify the non-paying company so that members no who to avoid in the future. It is the least that they can do. DollarSurveys.net has their reputation on the line when they refuse payment for work that is done. They are still running behind in payments:

Update December 9, 2008 We are caught up with almost all payments. All surveys completed up to 12/03 have been credited. We will be sending more credits next week.

That is great to hear mrsjbelle. Dollarsurveys.net does pay out. Unfortunately, there have been several times where I did not receive payment for a survey and there was a time when the host site would not return me to dollarsurveys so that I could get credited for completing the survey. I think that, in many cases, this is indicative of the survey company and not necessarily Dollarsurveys.net. It is frustrating when time is wasted. I haven't been to dollarsurveys.net in a while due to the fact that I have been very busy with work lately. This is the first chance that I have had to participate on myLot in quite some time. You are most welcome beckinuganda. I hope that this thread answered at least some of the questions that you had. It is worth testing out a survey program if it only takes a short survey to earn a buck. Good luck.

so i tried it out but having troubles with it...just receiving tons of emails from other sites with surveys, but not dollarsurveys....is that normal?

Dollarsurveys.net doesn't send offers to your e-mail, only reminders. You have to visit their site in order to sign on to new surveys. I have had much trouble with DollarSurveys.net recently, so I no longer recommend them and I advise that you don't bother with them anyway. See below for the update. Good luck.

UPDATE 04/23/09: Dollarsurveys.net has not paid me for the last two surveys that I completed. I was redirected to their site both times, after completing the surveys, and notified that my account would be credited. I have waited the requisite amount of time before contacting Dollarsurveys.net about non-payment, and they still refuse to send payment to my paypal account. I no longer recommend to anyone that they use dollarsurveys.net. There are too many good survey programs that actually payout without hassle for anyone to bother wasting time on dollarsurveys.net. I have taken my last survey with them and I advise everyone else to avoid them with extreme prejudice. Good luck out there.

update: I was paid for three of the surveys I had taken. Not as much as I had thought I should have but I'll start my tally over. Right now 3.00 is better than none to me.
