Where is England going Wrong?

Flintoff and Peterson can really destroy any bowling attack on their day. Why then does a team having both the players failing so miserably?
I believe the fact that England lacks hard hitting aggressive players at the top puts them on the back step right from the word go when their innings begins. Peterson needs to lead by example and come in at number 3 and try and pace his innings like how Yuvraj does now. This will give other batsmen a chance to keep the tempo going and Flintoff in the middle of the innings can clobber the opposition out of the match.
Also Peterson is seem wanting in his captaincy at times. Seems like he comes out with a plan and if that plan doesn't work he doesn't have a plan to fall back on. Touring India is really a very big acid test for captain of any side. even mighty australians will agree to that. Now that England have lost 2 matches Kevin has a lot of homework to do and prove he is a tough captain who is not avarse of taking hard decisions.
One or two players from England side need to be taken off the playing 11 and Sidebottom and Swann given a chance to show what they have to offer to the team. I believe both will be more effective that Harmison or Collingwood on Indian pitches.

Hello,Poonam! Everything is going alright with team India. To their good luck in first two ODIs Yuvraj did marvelously well followed by good support from Sehwag,Gambhir,Dhoni and a good bowling squad. On the other hand England has not yet familiarized with the Indian pitches. At present the moral of the Indian team is at its zenith and they can easily convert the defeat to victory. After all they have beaten the world NO.1 team recently. However I must say that the English team is lacking a good spinner to beat India.thanx.

Hello bbsr13 I fully agree with you. They have not yet accustomed with the pitches and environment here and winning of 2 ODIs by Team India will have a great mental pressure. England is totally under pressure. At present the moral of Team India is skyscraper. Let us hope for the best.
