Money, Money, Everything Going Up NothingComing Down.  

Its hard when we are all in the same boat. I agree with you. Especially with the holidays just around the corner. The only bright spot to be seen is that gas prices have come down.

Oddly enough, a lot of ours have actually gone down. Gas is lower than it has been in a year and my vehicle insurance drops annually. Our mortgage went down .4% recently and it's well under 5%. Our electric bill is now tiered so you pay less up until a certain usage. We even got a notice that our heating bill will drop by about $100 + a year.

I don't know if we're just very lucky to live where we do or if it's just the companies we deal with but I'm glad that these big expenses have gone down. Especially since other things like food are going crazy. But it almost feels like the calm before the storm, so hopefully things don't just explode!

Hi, yeah, my car insurance just jumped up and I don't know why! I don't know if you caught my story about getting a bill from the Dept. of revenue for back taxes on cigarettes that I have been buying over the internet...I couldn't believe that one...Here I thought I was saving money...No such thing I guess! I have been slacking off on a few bills lately, I just can't afford to pay them. The charges I will incur for not paying them on time (or at all) will be out of this world, I am quite sure of it!

u are right . everything keeps going up. only thing around here that has gone down is gas. they are raising our garbage bill on account of gas being so high. they are looking for any excuse to raise everything. groceries are outrageous.

I haven't been to my mailbox in three weeks since I have a PO box, I probably do have an increase on my bill,with the way things are, everyone wants money but no one want to spend money, the economy is getting worse eveyday, I don't know what can be done, your right every thing is going up not down, the only thing that came down was gas, and I don't think that will be down too much longer.

Thankfully (?) the only thing to go up lately is my internet service. But, I'm sure other utilities and such will go up in the near future.

My heart goes out to you with all this happening where you are, its the same here but not so bad. Our bills have all gone up too but my husband job is safe as he works as a security agent at the airport and gets good money and I am on bebefirs as I am disable, I pray for you every day for something good to happen. You're right, Chevee..it's a bad situation, and it may get worse. The States are in trouble with their budgets, the auto manufacturers are begging at the gates, and our government is using you and I to pay the bills. The only thing that has gone down in recent months is heating fuel, and lots of people locked into a higher fixed price months ago, before the cost dropped. Our insurance rates have gone up, too; and we've certainly added no valuable paintings to our home furnishings!

Mony is very important.
At the same time, it is very difficult to make, especially when the economy is sinking in this manner.

Yes it is getting bad for us too. Our electric bill has nearly doubled in the past couple of months. Still trying to figure that one out! Groceries are going through the roof, to the point where I have resorted to clipping coupons again! The only thing not going up is wages! Thankfully, the gas prices are down to what we used to pay over 4 years ago, but how long will it last?

Unfortunatly, I think it will get much worse before it gets any better.
