To those of you who go camping, where is your favorite place and why.

My husband and I like camping. We are planning a two week camping trip for this coming summer. We live in Pennsylvania and are a few hours from Gettysburg, so that is one place we want to go, but we also want to go to Nashville, work our way back to Gettysburg, then home. We want to do many of the ghost tours on this trip, so we are trying to find places that have ghost tours, and Gettysburg is a biggy. We have been there before, but only for a day, so we want to return for a few days. Since we live in Pa. we like to visit places that are within driving distance. If it is more than a day's drive, we will stop along the way. We like amusement parks, historical sites, nature and, of course, ghosts!! If you have any recommendations, I would love to hear. We tend to stick with KOA campgrounds as we always have good experiences with them and not always with privately owned ones.
