My husband and I like camping. We are planning a two week camping trip for this coming summer. We live in Pennsylvania and are a few hours from Gettysburg, so that is one place we want to go, but we also want to go to Nashville, work our way back to Gettysburg, then home.
We want to do many of the ghost tours on this trip, so we are trying to find places that have ghost tours, and Gettysburg is a biggy. We have been there before, but only for a day, so we want to return for a few days.
Since we live in Pa. we like to visit places that are within driving distance. If it is more than a day's drive, we will stop along the way. We like amusement parks, historical sites, nature and, of course, ghosts!!
If you have any recommendations, I would love to hear. We tend to stick with KOA campgrounds as we always have good experiences with them and not always with privately owned ones.

I have always wanted to visit India. One day, when I have enough money, I will go. The TajMahal has always been on my list of places to visit. It is amazing that it was built for his love. How wonderful and sad at the same time.
We went to Italy this past summer, for month, and it was very costly. It will take us years, again, to afford a big trip overseas as I will not go for one week. I cannot see spending that much money on travel to stay such a short time.

You are very welcome. I enjoy your posts and replies. They are thoughtful and interesting. Many are just babble for earning money. Yours make sense!

i love to go camping up at jones gap state park in south carolina almost to the north carolina boarder i like it up there because horses are allowed on the trails and i ride my horse and lead my pack mule up to the camp site which is about 3 miles into the woods and my three dogs run along beside the horses and camp with me the camp site is beautiful with a fire pit and river running along beside the area is big enough for my tent and for me to string up a small corral for my horse and mule
