My husband had an account in YouTube and it was deleted by the administrator because of the copyright law. He is an avid fan of Elvis Presley and he is fond of cutting clips from Elvis' concerts and share it to his friends on YouTube. The bad thing about the administrator of YouTube is because they had given him a one day warning only thru email and it was really a bad timing because he wasn't able to check his email that day. When he opened his account, he can't access it anymore. We don't know lots of things about copyrights so I think my husband is innocent and if he was warned days before that, I mean, more than one day, maybe he can have sent his friends some messages that he will be using a new account or that he will have to delete some videos. So now, his YouTube friends are all gone and he would have to post all our family videos that he also uploaded for our relatives abroad.

Hi, that is not exactly what I mean pierone. We know that there is such thing as a copyright law but admit it, even you won't know every detail of it. I think the problem is we sometimes ignore the terms and conditions on joining and using some sites. I know there will be something to it which will explain some kind of rules about copyrights. And then we see some users who get away with it so we sometimes tend to do things like them.

Well you cant say thet he is innocent just because he does not know much about the laws. But yes I agree that he should have had more than a day and I am suprised that he didnt as I know that people are told about the breach and told to delete or change things in advance. Has he tried to contact the admins? Maybe they can work out what happened in this case.
