Is Public View Suicide becoming Fashionable these days? Is it honourable death?

I was amazed to read in the media that a young teenager in Florida committed suicide in the full view of his network friends in a social network forum, My space last week. As I was still pondering over such a bizzare act, a Police Chief in Argentina, climbed over his roof-top in the full cover TV crew and shouted to his wife, "I WILL LOVE YOU FOR EVER MARIA" then shot his head with a pistol, shattering it completely as soon as he saw the police approaching to arrest him for crimes against humanity he allegedly cimmitted many years ago! I found the whole approah to dying almost funny-is there something fashionable about suicidal deaths these days? Are humans beginning to glamourize death by dying in public view with all the media machines aound them? Is it honourable death perhaps?

I think it is only fashionable in the minds of those who are committing it. I do not find it at all fashinable though. I think it is very sad.
