How can you learn to make glass jewelry? Especially pyrex (borosillicate) glass jewelry. I love all sorts of spiral and swirl designs made out of glass, but they get so expensive. My ears react to nearly anything else it seems so I love wearing glass because it doesn't cause any allergies at all. But I'd love to be able to learn to come up with more styles. Any ideas?

first you need a blow torch probably first you need some lessons from someone who does these things, not something you can do without a few lessons on first....

I wonder where you can find these type of lessons though. I do have a blow torch. :) I also have a glass kiln if that's needed, since my grandpa used to do stained glass work. Well, I don't have it, I have access to it. He would let me use it.

Check on line, check at the stain glass store your grandfather gets his stuff at, they might know someone.

My grandfather hasn't done glass work for several years now, but I'll look around for some stores.

Check out the videos on YouTube. I've found several interesting how-to videos on their site. Just punch in what you want in their search engine and see if it turns up any videos. There's quite a few crafting how-to videos on the site, so you may just find a couple that help you out! Good Luck!
