It is possible that someone broke into your account. I would notify them immediately and also change your password right away.

Also though, sometimes people send out emails that look like delivery failure notices to try to get you to reply to them so you can get a virus or whatever it is they do when they send out pointless junk mail like that. I get them sometimes. So, it could be that.

Either way, I would notify yahoo customer service and change my password just to be safe.

I experienced the same situation. Worst is, the person who hacked my account changed my password and keeps on sending hate messages to my friends. I asked several computer techs on how to retrieve my password and what can I do to stop the hacker. He told me it is difficult for me to get back my account. He advised me to create a new account instead and inform my friends of what happen. In your case, I would suggest that you change your password now before the hacker can do it and prevent you from accessing your account.

Immediately change your password and send a email to all your friends about the problem - some of your friends may have actually got messages from the hacker.
Sometimes viruses can do this automatically and also some spam emails look like this.
Better safe than sorry!

you should change your password and if you are using public computer then don't save your user name or password or delete cookies, history.

If you are more conscious about your mail then change your password in every 6 months

hello you can recived this error e-mail one day after that you send some e-mails. You can comprobate ifone or two days before you send some e-mail to this adresse that can produced this error

There are several websites out there that when you sign up with them they import your address book & send messages to your friends under your name asking them to join. I have had several friends who have joined these sites & atleast once a month I receive a request under their name asking me to join. When I complained to my friends, they said they joined but didn't like the site & left. One person it has been over a year & I'm still receiving the emails. These sites don't have your password & do not go back into your account. They just steal your address book at the time you join & harass your friends. When a friend changes email addresses, the notice will come back to you as they cannot redirect them to their site. I've not heard of a way to stop these sites. From what I have been told they do not compromise your Yahoo account just your address book at the time they can steal it. Good luck with your problem. I hope changing your password takes care of the problem.

What a scarey thing to have happened. Such an invasion of privacy, huh? I hope you've changed your password. I've begun changing mine at least once a month.
I have to keep a journal by the computer so I'll remember what it it...lol.
You might want to consider sending a quick email to the people in your address book to watch for anything received 'from you' that looks out of character.

A short while ago I started receiving emails from a friend using an account that
she hasn't used for several years. It looked like a link to access some kind of offer from Home Depot. It was suspicious because it was poorly worded and had misspellings. So before opening it, I called her. She, of course, had not sent it, and several of her friends had received them too. I deleted it, but received several more over the span of a couple of weeks.

It's scary to think that email spammers have (and use) addresses that they harvested years ago. With that happening, the idea of only opening emails where you know the sender is not even reliable. You almost have to scrutinize everything you receive now. Good luck to you!

I know yahoo mail contains some password number.If nobody don`t know your password he cant logged on your account.I think its your known person its not then i will suggest you to close the account.
