I've read the books, and I watched the movie. I thought it was a fun movie to watch. I mean, its not going to get any awards for acting or whatever, but it was entertaining enough that I enjoyed my two hours inside the movie theater. I have to admit I did go in with low expectations, considering that movies based on books, don't usually turn out the way I want. Still, I feel the movie try to stick with the book plot, but made changes that is necessary for a film format. It's actually funny how some poignant scenes in the book came out slightly humorous on the film, but I'm fine with that. I dragged a friend who has not read the books, and when the movie was over she love the film, and I have to accompany her to the bookstore to grab the book. So, I guess..the movie has its own charm.

I enjoyed both the book and the movie. They're both worth your time especially if you're into fantasy - love stories. It's quite hard not to compare them to each other but movies that are made from novels couldn't really incorporate everything that's written in the book into the manuscript

I still haven't watch it but I don't think I'll do. I'm really wondering what is it about the movie that makes it special. Maybe If my sister will buy a DVD I might watch it too.

My daughters have seen it twice. First with their friends and second with me. I think the movie is good but not great. I mean I've seen Interview with a Vampire movie before and it was a great movie. Twilight is kind of like for teenage girls. They like the movie cause of Edward....cause he's a cute vampire. If he wasn't cute I think people would just go see the movie to compare it with the book. Young girls imagine themselves as that girl with Edward. That's normal though. Go see it :)
