i saw giraffes for the first time in my entire lifetime...just last month...

I didn't get to feed them but I was at San Diego zoo in California and they are very very close to you I got a few good pictures of them this is my favorite... I have posted it for sale at zazzle and have actually sold 2 items in the last week and earned money from this.. if you go to zazzle.com and type in search field giraffe at lunch the items for sale will come up. I think they cam out pretty well. lol:)

i saw them manytimes in zoo.and countlesstimes in Natgeo,animal planet...basically i m a animal lovers..and member of blue cross society

They are awesome looking creatures, and are way different to what you see on the tv...I have been close to them in real life but I havnt had the pleasure to actually feed them..

Oh yes, they are in many of the zoos here. They are amazing looking creatures. So tall but yet they have those big sweet eyes, and they are nice and docile. We love to visit the giraffes and feed them. They are among the most beautiful of animals, I think anyways.

You know, I never imagined them to be so big! Their heads are sooo huge! So much bigger than I'd imagined. Their heads are like 2 feet long. I don't know if I'm exaggerating, and I wouldn't have been able to measure it if I tried (I would risk getting licked by a giant blue tongue). Feeding them is fun, though I prefer not to get giraffe drool on my hand LOL
