Hi missybear! I love thrift stores! And that is exactly what I want for my compter area a 13 inch tv! I would be afraid that it wouldn't work! There are some things that I would be afraid to buy in a thrift store. But, I love to shop in thrift stores, tag sales, flea markets! I love to get bargains! I don't buy anything in a store unless it is on sale! I will wait until I see whatever it is I am looking for to be on sale. I am a pretty thrifty shopper. Sounds like you did pretty good, as long as the tvs work! Nice going!

Yes, I go to thrift stores. Sometimes I find some pretty good deals and other times not so much. I think $10 for a 27 inch TV is not bad at all. Heck $5 for a 13 inch is not bad. We have a 13 inch TV/VCR combo in the family room with the computer that my kids watch old VHS tapes on.

We go to the thrift store a few times a year. It's amazing the good quality items you can get there. We've also saved a bundle on our kid's halloween costumes there.

Missybear you just hit the rat right on the nose. We are real thrift store freaks. We often find everything cheap in thrift stores. Oh what a blessing huh? I bought a VCR for $5 and a DVD player for $5. We also bought 2 computers for $50 each, both are desktops, and it actually works. We had these computers for almost a year, maybe 10 months tops, and the only problem I had with it is spyware and viruses, that's because I didn't have virus protection on my computer, so that was my fault, can't blame the computer this time huh?

Wow, missybear, thats a great deal . I do go to a thrift shop, but I never bought an electronics. I normally get clothes, blanket, towels and bags and I do enjoy go to a thrift shop because so many things that you can get for a very nice price. Thanks!
