HI Jerz: Sorry!! Yep we got our predicted little bit of snow between 1-2"..that's enough for me (G)!! Yeah I've been gone since about 8:30 a.m. or so yeah rah!!! I'm so far behind in stuff to do on the computer and so far behind in my tv shows I don't know which way to turn...but the bed really is calling me, trying to fight off the needed nap but not sure if I'll make it !!! yeah like you I'm a sleepy -fied woman!!!

I agree with you on the comment you left on the picture about the quietness after the snowfall. UNLESS you live down south like me then you hear all the neighbors, both young and older ones, out playing in it and having a snowball fight and building snowmen only because we hardly ever see it happen here. LOL

Hi Tyc: Yeah I had to laugh when I turned onto my street coming home, I seen a snowman out in one of the residents yards....LOLOLOL! A SNOWMAN! It surprised me!! What's funnier is no kids live there, its ADULTS or sorta adults, I guess the big kid in them was SHINING TODAY! IT SNOWED IT SNOWED!! Let's build a snowman! Oh brother!!!

Hi Pye; Sorry it took me so long to get back to respond here, been really super busy the last couple of days as you know. yesterday afternoon the sleet was coming down really wicked with the wind blowing the way it was , that was NOT fun at all trying to run around and do my first of the month errands... I detest Winter Weather but thankfully the ground had warmed up a bit and the streets were not slick however the sidewalks was getting slick by the time I got home with Minx around 6:00 p.m. I've no idea what it looks like outside as its still very dark this morning but I'm sure its SLICK OUT! BLEH!!

HI KellyJeanne: Oh Wow yeah if you were born and raised there in Michigan then you had it way worse than I did here in Missouri, aka state of misery..LOL! So now you are out where its warm huh? Wow you really are just experiencing all of Mother nature's states of wrath ( weather wise); First SNOW & Cold...then in Florida hopefully it wasn't too close to the ocean to get those wicked Hurricanes?? UGH! Now you are in San Diego, with the nicer weather BUT major earthquakes...OMG!!! I think I'll just sit tight here in Missouri, and deal with the tornadoes HAVE you been in earth quakes since you've lived there?? That would just petrify me!! So if you hear of Missouri having a major earthquake this winter its because old Jan here might have hit the ground LOL! God I hope not I do not need any more injuries on my body, that is my biggest fear in wintertime CRASHING TO THE GROUND but I have that worry and fear all the time because I've had many a back spasm thats knocked me to the ground flat down on my back, flat down almost face first its scary! give Mija a hug for me!!!

I am trying to improve on that area actually the writing part I can spin a good "yarn" even a truthful yarn but trying to stop with my hillbilly ways is what's really hurting me writing wise..LOL!! Once a "hick" always a country hill billy "hick" I guess, kinda runs in my family; I never did get my nap in today was waiting to hear from the Vets office again and called them twice, thank goodness they do better service on the animals they treat because their follow up service SUCKS!! Supposedly I can pick Minx up tomorrow according to the "ninny" I talked too today;
