my dog is vegetarian. i give him calcium powder too.

Your dog is very lucky to have you as it's owner to think that you even give him calcium supplements. There are only a small number of people who will spend more just to make their pets healthy. As of calcium on vegetables, when I was pregnant, my OB gyne used to prescribe eating lots of broccoli as they have enormous amount of calcium as she said.

Wow, you've got a vegetarian dog? Cool. :D Kudos for supplementing his calcium intake with that calcium powder. That must be an expensive diet... I sure hope your dog's tolerating it well. :) Well, if you're looking to find calcium in vegetables, there's spinach, broccoli (as mentioned earlier) and mustard greens. These need to be cooked, by the way.

He is probably vegetarian because you force him to be. It is not natural. I am sure if he could speak he would love a big steak.

Chicory Greens, Dandelion Greens, Turnip Greens and Kale are richest with calcium, but calcium is in most green vegetables.
Dogs are actually omnivores, so they can stay healthy without meat.

Hi, I learned that carrot juice can even substitute infant formula if a baby is lactose intolerant. It's a better option ACCORDING to that study over soy milk, or goat's milk. Carrots are jampacked with calcium. A therapy connsisting of carrot juice even cured some people with osteoporosis, and herniated vertebral discs. Brocolli and green leafy vegetables are richest in calcium. A vegetarian person can get all the recommended calcium even without milk and its by-products in his diet owing it to plant sources alone. the only vitamin that's lacking in a vegetarian diet is b12 because its mostly in meat that's why sometimes, some vegetarians suffer pernicious anemia.
