Laptop or computer ? Make your choice ..  

I would have to choose a laptop also, but not just because of it's mobility. I do not have the room for a desk and PC. I can store my laptop underneath my couch when I get done with it. I like that it is convenient. I don't game so I really don't need much of a computer.

For me it would have to be a laptop just because the ease of use and the fact that you can take them anywhere.

If i am on the go i wqould choose a laptop in a hurry!! But if i am at home and just around the housE I would want the desk top computer..........just so i can lay evertything out,if i have to study or if i am working on a project. I loke to stay organized all the time, so this is a must. So having to choose between having a laptop or a regular computer, i would have to choose both. And not one over the other.

hi friends...i do agree with you that lappy's can be preferred if mobility is the main reason for usage and computer can be preferred if gaming is the usage...because you cannot do gaming much in lappy as its expensive and it might crash due to over load, as the graphics in gaming are high end....so lappy's need to used with care, while systems can resist the overload in gaming more than lappy's though now a days lappy's are coming with high end graphic cards too....

If you are a bussiness man and you are keeping a laptop for mobility then it is not time for gaming. Little games can be played on the laptops also. But as a hobby it is better to have a PC for gaming purposes. Another reason is that you cannot use keypad of laptop properly if you are not using analogue controllers

I would choose laptop because aside for mobility, it'll help you save. How? with PC you can't get free internet just like that (I'm taking about PC w/o wireless USB adapter), while with laptop, you can get free internet anywhere, at school, in a cafe, hotels, etc... and you can also save a little on your electricity bill because laptops don't consume much electricity power than a CPU (pc tower). I will always go for laptops. but if you are a gamer.. get the MSI gx series- it's a cool laptop designed for gamers :P

either of the two would be fine for me, as long as i have a computer/laptop that i can use everyday. i love to be online all the time. I could be here in mylot, in friendster or playing downloadable games that can be played for one hour..

laptop sincei can take it to university
and use the super fast connection there!

I still would love to have a laptop, as you say for mobility. so, there's no stopping me on mylotting always because i have to share the computer with my girls.

I prefer to have Laptop and not computer. There are good laptops available for gaming also.. which support rich graphics. DELL - is the good laptop which support rich graphics and that we can use it for gaming as well.
