Chia Pets

Hmm, I haven't noticed this, stealthy.

I think that when they were first made manifest upon landing on this planet many moons ago, that they were advertised year round. Perhaps now, after all that exposure, they are only producing enough offspring to populate the earth only once annually.

I am really interested in Chia Hair.

I hadn't noticed that until now! I'm guessing they put out all the cheap, crazy ridiculous stuff because they know people will buy someone just about anything for Christmas if they don't know what to get them! I would probably seriously freak out on someone if they bought me a chia pet for Christmas! Or bought me one period! I think I was in the 6th grade when those things came out, lol. Maybe I will buy one just to be funny!

Throughout the rest of the year, they are used to grow Santas beard!

I think it is the only time people will purchase them... they need an affordable gift for that someone that has it all - an office crank gift or whatever.

Have you ever noticed that the Chia Head professor looks like author Kurt Vonnegut Jr?

I'm guessing it is because they aren't all that popular. So when Christmas time comes around they come out of hibernation LOL, in hopes that people will buy them as Christmas gifts. Either that, or they don't want to pay for air time year round to show the commercials. Or heck, maybe it's both of these things! LOL
