Well, I usually used some scratcher device since my father had that but if that is not available I will used ruler or a hanger to scratched it for me.. But most of the time, I'll asked someone to scratched it for me like my mother or my father.. Sometimes, my niece..

Ah, yes, I know the feeling! I have a wooden ruler at my desk and that is what I resort to when there's nobody available to scratch the itch and I can't reach it. Actually, I get an extra inch that I sometimes need - this is a 13-inch ruler that we got from a real estate company who goes to "extra lengths to serve you." Don't think backscratching was what they had in mind, but it works for me!

Most of times i ask somebody to scratch.If nobody is there i just use door of my bedroom as a scratcher.I even used tree as a scratcher some where in park.I think good to be a gymnastic to reach those parts.

I would suggest a ruler first off.

But then if all else fails, find the corner of something and just do what the bears do and get your back into the molding around say...the bathroom doorway. A little side to side and you can itch any scratchy...

Or...youb could also try a flipper tool from your assortment of kitchen cooking items. They are normally 18" long and if you can't get that itch with one of those...then you are deformed or something.

i have a little back scratcher stick, though my black cat will lend a paw if you tap your back (he has no claws due to foot infection before i owned him).
he just piddy paws at you.

hi Modestah for me it will be these good old wooden coat hangers they work best if I have an itch I cant reach. I had that problem for some time before we scrubbed the mold out of that one corner in the bedroom. But now the mold is gone for a year and the itching is gone too. lol.

Well, I usually use the door frame like you do. I do have some back scratcher before but somehow it was lost. It was made of bamboo. I missed it though. So as of now, when there is no one to help, the good old door frame is always there.

I just got my Dad one of those back scratchers with a little hand on the end. He loves it.

I usually just use the corner of a building, or a screwdriver, stick, pencil, pen, staff, tree, whatever I can find.

The corner of the wall i find works the best. There is allways one around when you need it.

What a perfect discussion for me to find. I currently have an allergic reaction (or so I am thinking) to something in my new bra! My back has rows of ITCHY bumbps right along the bra line. I am home alone at present (everyone has gone for last minute Christmas items) and I just used the pasta grabber from the kitchen to scratch my back!! Yeah, disgusting I know, but I was desperate! At least I put it in the dishwasher when I was finished using it for a scratcher! I would give anything for one of those devices with the little hand on it!
