Craigslist is it safe?

I have only sold two things so far using craigslist and of those two experiences it felt pretty safe to me. The first item which was i PSP i shipped it to the seller, because he insisted on it and he was willing to pay for the shipping, so i was okay with that. I let them email me, i never provided my phone number and he payed me by paypal, but probably because i stated that i preferred paypal in my listing. The second one was a playstation 2, this one i went with my dad and we dropped it off at the buyer's house and the buyer just gave me cash upfront for it. Of course i only provided my email for contact. So i would say craigslist is safe, but you just have to be cautious not to give too much personal information. I hope this helps.

I have used craigslist a few times and you get alot of scam artist trying to con you. You have o be really careful and don't accept anything but cash is my best bet. If you have to meet them it would be best to meet in a public place with lots of people. These are just a few sugestions.

A friend of mine is doing this and it seems to be going well. I have used Craigslist for other things, including hiring employees. It has (mostly) worked out well for me. I say go for it!

I think its ok to sell things on craigslist........you just post it on craigs list that you have things to sell if possible take the pictures of those things and put it on some site and give the link......ask the people to come and see the things ....if they want they will buy it...
