The government is talking about the economy and hard it is on main stream America, but here in New Jersey the highway tolls have been increased, by at least 5%.
My husband had to pay $1.10 just to go one exit. I think this is ridiculous.
The additional money is supposed to be for the roads. I thought that was what the revenue coming from the state lotteries was supposed to be for.
Are there highway tolls where you live?

Where I live it doesnt cost us anyhting to get on the highway, its all free. HOWEVER, there is a separate highway they have which is even faster then the regular highway becuase it costs to go on it. When you get on it they have a camera that takes a picture of your liscense plate, and then they run they run the plate to get your informatino, and then they bill you through the mail. So all in all, the highway here is free, but if we want an even faster route, theres a separate highway you can pay for.
