ON WESTERNS : Which actor you like the most : John Wayne or Clint Eastwood? Why?  |

|  As for me, I prefer Clint Eastwood and I tell you why. He looks so tough and the western movies in which he plays are simply awesome. The one I like the most is A Fistful Of Dollars. The soundtrack also played its role and Morricone is one of the greatest composers.

| |  I kind of like them both as actors. John Wayne was before my time but I did see some of his movies and he was great in True Grit, Sands of Iwo Jima, and Reap the Wild Wind. He was masculine and carried a Western movie with his rugged voice and stamina, a real legend. Clint Eastwood is too awesome. He gave wonderful performances in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Dirty Harry and The Beguiled.

| |  I have seen quite a few westerns and have to say that I have seen more John Wayne movies than Clint Eastwood. The Good, the Bad,and the Ugly and Two Mules for Sister Sara were my favorite westerns starring Clint Eastwood. True Grit was my favorite starring John Wayne. Clint's later works were also good.

| |  I also prefer Clint Eastwood. I think it´s because he is a more modern cowboy in all of those movies. The one I like best is "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". That is maybe the best cowboy movie I have seen with wonderful actors and an awesome music that has become a classic.

| |  This is a toughie because Clint is the best at playing the mean brooding stranger going into a town to sort out baddies. Where as John Wayne was such a powerful creator of your traditional cowboy, the legendary gun totting killer. I hate to choose because I like both so much, but would say that I probably have more favourite westerns from John Wayne than I do Clint Eastwood so I would go for John Wayne.
