Pencil, gel, or liquid?  |

 Which do you prefer? I like pencil for my lower and once in a blue moon a use liquid liner for my top lid. I haven't mastered applying it though haha

1.  fasttalker (2195) | 1 year ago |  I prefer the pencil. I used to wear liquid liner all the time but pencil is not as dramatic so I prefer it. You may already know this but when you apply it start at the center of your eyelid and go toward your nose then go back to center and go outwards, That is how I was always taught to apply it and it works for me. 2. jbaeza (48)  | 1 year ago |  Depends on how and where you apply it. I like to line my entire eye, so I use pencil to line the inner part of both top and bottom. If I want a more dramatic effect, I'll line bottom with pencil and use gel on the outer part of the top. I can't get liquid to work for the life of me.

the few times that i have tried to use liquid, it stung really bad.
i think that pencil last longer and
liquid wears off into your eyes and hurts. | |

My favorite was the dark grey because it won't darken my eyes dramatically. And for the edge tip near the nose I used the white ones. I don't have any liquid eyeliner because I think it's more difficult to wipe off.

Keep practising, as you will get the hang of it eventually!
I have never heard of gel liner. What is that like?
