Do you know how it feels to be free?  

Nina Simone is a great musician. She wasn't a very nice person in a lot of ways but she had her reasons. She once almost attacked a fan after she signed an autograph and the fan didn't thank her enough. It's understandable why she was bitter about life though because she'd been through a lot of prejudice. Her mother wasn't even allowed sit at at the front of the audience at one of her early concerts.

She was incredibly gifted. She had a great voice and was a great pianist. One of my favourite songs of hers is called 22nd Century. It's an amazing song that's about ten minutes long and it has great lyrics.

I feel free when I'm listening to music or playing guitar. I also feel free when I can just get away from people for a while.

I didn´t know anything about Nina Simone. Now I´ll go learn. The lyrics you wrote were berautiful. Fortunatly, Iknow what it´s like to be free. I have always lived in a place where I was respected and where I was taught to respect. And I feel that is the beginning of freedom.

When I was into feeling sorry for myself I might have asked a question like that. Are you feeling sorry for yourself Ms Saintly?

We are all free. Some of us have just forgotten that fact and feel trapped by society or whatever. Of course there is a vested interest out there that would have us believing that we are not free but I no longer pay them any mind.

Nina Simone had a fantastic voice and sure knew how to use it, but I find her music pretty depressive.

sometimes when i am disgruntled about something,my parents always used to tell me that i am misusing the freedom,that i am taking my freedom for granted.they would often tell me about their grandparents,when they didnot have even the freedom of speech,before india became a free country.

Wonderful musician, wonderful lyrics there! I will go and search for Nina Simone now. And what does it feel to be free?
It feels absolutely happy without the shackles, without the fear of being misjudged and without the fear of being cheated and not loved. Feeling free for me means to be able to do my heat, to do all the things that I have always wanted to and to live life to the fullest.

well i really must say that i dont know nina simone and i wish i could watch the video but curretly i really cant..... but i should say that i have a total different meaning for the word free....
just the other day me and my dad after we came back from my riding club ( i am a horse rider) were talking about the spirit of the horse and how the horse feels under our burden on its back and the bit in its mouth,.....
and i finally came to the realisation that when i am on top of a horse and he is galloping under me..... thats when i feel free.... thats what i would call freedom...

really.practically.i always rome on the roads and enjoy going free and doing free i mean alone.y because there we get many things .and where we can enjoy the natural pleasure and alpha and omega of each and every step we go in .life..through self......
we can felt only through personal experience

The only time I feel really free is when I wear boxers.
