I have received a couple of emails with recipes for different varieties of this lately and tried it yesterday - it is delicious! I have put the recipe on my blog (link in my profile). It would make a really good snack for college students who only have access to a "micro-fridge".

I tried making this also. It was pretty good but had an aftertaste to it. It wasnt as good as I thought that it would be. I guess I will try it again sometime though. It will probably taste better the next time.

A pinch of cinnamon might "spice up" the taste a little.

Yeah I saw that on Instructables about a month ago... it has become popular across the internet (at least the one I saw, chocolate flavor). Try as I might to make it, I found it suffered from the characteristic symptoms of microwave cakes (namely that it had uniform consistency and held together too well, like eating an eggy brick). I found that the best way to make it was to add some baking powder, not put the egg yolk in, and watch it VERY carefully when cooking. Still it wasn't that great, and I won't make the recipe I saw again. Must check yours out to see if its the same.

I think mine was just a little over-cooked. Perhaps, I'll try it at 4 minutes and see what happens.

Now this is cute and if you gave some coffee with it and maybe even placed it all in a basket, wouldnt that be a great gift. I really like this and I havent seen it before. Appreciate it and Merry Christmas....

I was thinking the same - you could mix up all the dry ingredients in a bag and include the instructions - would make a really nice gift.
