when i was in my country Philippines we see every corner"no return no exchange"!it was annoying coz you can“t return the stuff if there is defect.sometimes they agree to return but so many etcetera and so many involves like area manager, supervisor or the incharge of the stuff.but here in germany yesterday we return the 2 pair of shoes. the house shoes and the boots of my little girl.after 3 weeks used the zipper of the boots is ruined and the house shoes also ruined but it was impressive they accepted it without any prblems.have you experienced this kind of problems that you return the stuff without any probs?

well in my experience when i buy an upgrade for my pc way back in 2003 or 4... the memroy that i buy cant fit to the memory slot so i decided to bring it back at that time so they pull it back and return my money.... but i usually want to buy that time but they dont have stocks with the kind of memory that my pc have so i was so disappointed at that time that i dont buy for my poor computer....

I do agree that the customer sales service in big countries such as UK and Germany is far better than in other countries including Malta. The customer in big countries is regarded as king while in my country is the other way round.

I guess it can get frustrating at times with all those people in the department stores to follow their standard operating procedure. I have never experienced it actually because I actually do understand since I am in retail myself. I had returned items a few times already due to factory defect and I am satisfied with the result so far. I had heard about returning items in other countries to be a lot more easier and once I even heard a friend recanting her experience wherein she was able to return a watch she bought for over a year already. Customer retention must be very high for those particular products.

Marvelous, the store here will never accept goods that has been used. They only accept the goods in new condition, unused that is and with a valid receipt of payment.

yes agree.its amazing.this is what i like here zandi even its used many months you can return it if you are not satisfy because its the law and not even receipt they stil accepted it because in germany everyshop have their own name except the branded ones i mean at the packing you can see the name of the shop so they dont have doubt that its their stuff.

Actually, the "No Return, No Exchange" policy of some stores in the Philippines is illegal. If you would buy in big department stores, exchanging your items isn't really that hard but watch out for small stores or boutiques because they don't allow that. You can complain to a DTI help desk if you want too though.
