Dr. Phil has enjoyed great success on television. The world first met him on the Oprah Winfrey show. Since then, he now has own show, and a "Dr. Phil House", where he brings people to help them with their problems. He is also written several books.
Do you like him? Or do you hate him?
Does he know what he's talking about or is he full of it?
My personal opinion is, that I don't like Dr. Phil, but sadly I love to hate him. I think he is arrogant at times and gets on a pedestal and starts to preach. I think he definitely has some good advice, but at times, he will really get on my nerves!
What about you?

I think he's great, I mean, he's been doing this kind of stuff for what is probably now a million years. He's seen it all. I don't agree on what he says sometimes, though. For example, there are some guests on the show with problems and decisions that they have to make, and sometimes he tells them what he thinks is right instead of encouraging them to know for themselves what is right for them.
Then again, they don't really have to listen to him. He does his best, and he can't be perfect. I don't like, though, how some of his shows are just not in his area. Like when he had a few shows on the OJ Simpson trials. He's not a lawyer, and there is nothing he can do, so I don't see what business he had doing shows on that when he could have been helping more people. He has changed my life though, and he has helped so many people. Even if he couldn't help them himself, he always does get the guests therapy and such.

He can be a pompous a** sometimes but he can be really interesting too. I don't love or hate him but I would hate to have him on my case about something, that's for sure!
