Dad is comming

My dad called this morning, he is going to be here on april 5th next year.
So is my little brother who is 18 tomorrow.
I never met him. He is from my dads second marriage.
I'm exited and scared at the same time. It's only the third time in 24 years i've seen my dad.
I just wanted to share this with everybody because i'm so happy and i can't wait.

Hi missy! That sounds really nice and very exciting! I can
understand that you might feel a little bit scared, but
it is an excited kind of scared! It will be very nice to
meet your little brother for the first time! Now that is
something to look forward to! I think that is wonderful
that your family is reaching out to you! Maybe this could
be the start of a something really wonderful. I don't know
your story, but I think that at least your dad is now making
an effort to try to be in your life! Sounds good to me!

Yeah, me and dad have a little different relationship than me and mom.

Me and my dad don't talk as much as me and my mom, we talk once a week, my dad and i only talk on birthdays or holidays.
But i love them both the same.

Wow you have never met your brother and he is turning eighteen. That sounds crazy to me. I'm glad you are getting the chance to meet him though. It's also cool that your getting a chance to see your dad after so long. If you don't mind me asking why haven't you ever met your brother and why don't you see your dad more often than what you do? Anyway I hope the visit is everything you are hoping for and more.

They live in germany.
I been in america for 24 years. I got married which didn't last and kinda stayed here.
My dad got remarried that's how i got my little brother.
I could be his mom actually.
My dads wife is 10 plus years younger than my dad.That's ok.

hii,missybear! i'm glad for u that u will see your dad and little brother soon..u are cetainly excited and happy to met u dad for so long seperating away and also met your nearly 18 years old bro for the first time...and sorry that u make me miss my dad very much. he'll never come back to the world though...

What a great reunion that is going to be. I bet your dad is a little nervous too, it is only natural. I can imagine seeing your brother for the first time in eighteen years. Have the two of you ever spoke to each other on the phone? How exciting that is going to be. Well, you have plenty of time to plan some nice things for them to do.

We used to write letters for a few years, now i have a computer we e-mail and talk on the phone . He is very buisy and sometimes hard to get a hold of . But he's only 18.
