Could you ever live Amish?  | |  I think the Amish lifestyle is interesting, but I could never live in that way. It's not so much the religion, but when you're so use to things like electricity and air conditioning, it's hard to go without it. There are some things that we could take away from how the Amish live, even if we can't live everything the same.

It's true to say that we get used to something, and its difficult to give it up again. I couldnt imagine doing without my mobile phone, or my car. Come to think of it, I couldnt do without my computer either. I have very poor writing, and I wouldnt be able to read the notes I take in class unless i transcribed them later on.

It is like a field day to visit the Amish community, and to experience and see their daily life. But to linger on that lifestyle, I just couldn't do it myself. | |
