If a girl says thank you after a date, its over, isn't it?

Don't you think so? A boy and a girl go for a date and the girl didn't like the date then she will not say that she won't want to go for another date but she will say, "thank you very much, it was my pleasure having you with me this evening, Thanks a lot."This is the sign that girl doesn't want to go for another date.
Quite a nice way to say NO.

no its not that. if i dont like the date i would not say thank you, why should i say thank you if i dont like it? i dont want to fake myself, nor the guy. if i like the date im very willing to give or say thank you and you take care going home. LOL i should give him a goodbye kiss maybe. hahahhaa

Then I tried it with a couple of girls two years ago and didn't get a success. Well, now I have given it up and waiting for life to do something for me.

That's not true. I am a respectful and polite, I always say thank you to anybody. I usually say thank you to the guy after a great evening, of course we had dinner and drinks together. If I don't like the guy, I will tell him the next day by telling him via sms. I even say thank you to my current bf when we go out and when ever he pampers me. Why don't you try to call the girl again and asked her out?
If she said that she will be busy but you can still call her again, that's fine as it means that you have hope with her. If she says that she will be busy and doesn't say anything more, don't call her back again. There's nothing wrong with trying.

Most of the time, these things are not being said at front because most people can't grasp it with ease.
Taking an example of interview, the interviewee don't tell the candiadte that he cna't be selected, but instead, he will tell, "I will call you via phone!".
About givining another call, I don't think I should do that because if once I have given a call and it must be known to her that I am looking for her and it is her responsibility to call back me!

I don't think the girl would mean she never wanted a date with you. Sounds like she enjoyed the date. The way to find out is to ask her for another date. 
I know I just came out and told a boy that I want another date with him, that we just didn't 'gee haw', as they say.
I once made one bring me home at 9:30 because I found out he wasn't the kind I wanted to be out with!

Saying thank you after the first date to a guy doesn't mean the end of everything, I mean, personally, if I thank the guy after our first date, that means I enjoy his company and I am just being polite to say thank you to him, but it doesn't mean I don't like him and never date him anymore. Anyway if I don't like the guy, I will turn him politely.

I don't think so. Sometimes a girl can be so nice to say thank you to a guy after a date. It doesn't always mean that it's over.

No I don't think so, infact if a girl didn't thank some-one for a good night i would think it was rude, to me it is almost saying I liked can we do it again...maybe i am wrong but I always thanked my dates..

I always say thank you after a date. The guy spent time, energy and money to take me out and deserves thanks. It has no connection to whether I'll see him again.

Wow, really deep. So, how a guy suppose to know whether she doesn't want a second date or not? Because she just say she has a nice evening to spend time with you. If a simply guy like me, would think that she might really had a good time. How would a guy suppose to detect this kind of signal?
