what to wear with taupe boots???

i bought these taupe boots a few years ago and never wore them because i can never find a taupe shirt!!! are there any other colors i can wear with them and not look like an idiot??

I think a nuetral color like a type of darker brown or black would go nicely with the boots. Maybe a dark blue.
