After more than three years and a trail of frustrating legal delays, the man who killed four people in a courthouse escape was sentenced to prison for life without parole and hundreds of years. Prosecutors who spent the last month urging to sentence the criminal to death were not happy. It shows how difficult it is to get a capital sentence in Atlanta Fulton County. Nichols was found guilty last month of murdering a judge, a court reporter, a sheriff's deputy and a federal agent in the March 2005 rampage. After four days deliberating on whether to recommend the death penalty, the jury deadlocked at 9-3. But it may not be over yet Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said he's talked to the U.S. Attorney about a federel death penalty trail for the federal agent's slaying. How do you feel about the sentence they gave Brian Nichols.

Before everyone starts judging this guy all crazy maybe you should read the book of the women he held hostage that night after he did all of this. "An angel sent from God" is the book. I am not saying what he did was okay but just remember he apparently has a heart and saved two other lives through his tradegy. It is a very good book I suggest everyone read it if you have not.
