Do you want to have GPS in your cellphone?  

it a good feature to find one way in an area were not familiar with. but is kinda
hard to be dependent with that technology. it like being to lazy to ask for simple directions. i agree with you YOULESS its a no no for me

well youless I dont need a GPS on my cellphone now,because I do not tend to get lost here,because this place ios familar to me.But if I plan to stay some where else,it would be nice to have it so that will never get lost.......

I think you could buy a cellphone with GPS function since it is not expensive anymore. I am a lost guy too even in my city. And what I got is Nokia N95 8G, it's very useful espeically we you travell at other city. Under its help it's easy to find the Hotel, restaurant, scenery spot even public toilet and you don't have to carry a thick map booklet with you. It is really helpful You are gonna like it.

i think you really need gps if like youre in desert or a jungle
where theres really no sign to look on to or some to ask for diection.
gps is a good tool for explorer and the likes ;)

I have GPS built into my car so I won't need it on my phone... I do find it very helpful since I travel a lot for work... At one point, I was lost in a state I've never been to & my cell phone didn't have any service... GPS pretty much saved me for that day, finding my way back to the hotel I was staying... When I check into a hotel, their business card is the first thing I grab, especially when I'm on a business trip...

Since I live in a small island I don't have much use of it since I am familiar with the roads here. However I would make use of it if I had to travel and drive abroad. I think I would make use of this feature.

Its one of those things which happen with all technological devices. The companies need to make there phone sound high-tech so they stuff it with half-functional software and hardware for the sake of having an extra "cool" feature. I bought a phone with GPS only to realise you have to actually pay extra for maps and stuff.

Don't laugh my friend but I have absolutely no idea whether my cellphone or we call it a mobile in the UK has GPS capabilities! I just use my phone mainly to text friends and also for emergencies in case I am out in the car and it breaks down and I need to call road recovery services, I guess it would a great feature to have but it would also I guess make the phone more expensive? But it's not something I would desperately need or expect from a phone, I am not technologically minded to be honest.

That is a cool and good feature. I just recently bought a new phone and it has a GPS. Its not a must for me since I don't travel much. But you never know, you just might need it one day.
