I do have problems with my weight. Sometimes I gain weight so fats but lose it every slowly. Different methods work for each individual. What eventually worked for me was when I ate frequent but small meals and in the evenings, I don't eat anything after 6 pm. This had me losing 12 pounds in more or less one month. As we get older our metabolism slows down so it's only natural. It's good to know that you've found something that worked for you. What were the small meals? It might be different depending on what you eat I guess?

I don't really have weight problems but I would like to lost maybe 1/2 a stone or a stone - just so i can vary my diet somewhat. I thnik it depends what I eat. My weight can go up and down quite quickly in the space of 1/2 stone

I think the time of day can effect us too. There are so many things. If somethings fattening obviously have that not so often. I would do a search online. Also keep active.

That won't automatically help straight away but in the long run it should

These small meals are low in calories, like one slice of loaf bread with a piece of cheese and one apple. Fruits and veggies are a great part of it. A nutritionist should be consulted regarding these small meals as they have to compute for your calorie requirement based on your weight and height. My 'weight problems' stem from having my last child... he is now 10 months old and I am having a terrible time getting the pounds to come off! I think the only thing that will work for me is EXERCISE. I practice very healthy eating habits, but that is not enough... I've tried multiple "diets" throughout my lifetime, but Exercise is the ONLY thing that has every worked for me.

I have ocassion to gain a bit.....and it's harder to come off.....as I am older. But recently I have lost weight without even thinking about it.....I have been so busy with making things for Christmas I don't think about eating! So if I stay busy I am good...but it's when I am bored and snack alot that I gain that unwanted weight!

I am afraid to say I do not have such problem. At times I gather few extra pounds but I just go on a restricted diet for couple of weeks to restore it to my normal level. As such I feel really uncomfortable whenever I tend to go fat! Silly!
