OK, as frequently happens this question came out of me getting all riled up about another discussion here on Mylot. So here's the deal, I'm irked today by an apparent gender bias we have in our society. Why are there no male equivalent to the following words, or slang? What is a male "slu***t" called? I suggest the only phrase that comes close is "gigolo" and that is seen as a positive, or a "notch" in a man's belt. How about, a male mistress, do we have a word for them? I can't find one, if you know one please share. How about, "wh***re", "loose", "easy", these are not terms usually applied to males, and when their applied to a woman, they're definitely less than positive. OK, your turn, what do you think??

No not exactly that's my point though its a double standard a man is a stud... and a woman ... many many other nasty things!

Yes you are right there really is no alternative or male words for all you have said. I think men are not allowed to be called these things when they are probably worse culprits than women at all these. (sorry guys, nothing personal) I think us girls are going to have to get together and find some, as this is unfair that women get called these horrid names and men do not. Very well said and pointed out wheel416

I think it's taken as a given that males act the way they do so need to describe them other then males. Sorry guys.
