Dreaming of a White Christmas?

As I look out the window I see nothing but dull gray white. Snow covers everything, even the sky is that color of grayish white. The wind is blowing hard and cold and snow is blowing up and down and even in circles. The people that walk by hold their coats tight with one hand and shield their eyes with the other. If it looks like anything is is misery. Who ever is dreaming of a white christmas this year... certainly is not picturing this. Yuck.. cold... brrr. How is the weather in your neck of the woods?

I am in Australia so it is usually mega hot at Christmas but this last week it has been icy cold, I just said to a neighbour yesterday that if it gets any colder we may have a white christmas which would be nice i think but I guess things will heat up pretty quick soon..

the prospect of heat sounds really nice to me, I'll be dreaming of an Australian Christmas, one without the cold.

I am in Georgia and it has been in the 70's here for the past couple of weeks. It is supposed to be that way for at least the next week too. I have never had a white christmas. I lived in New York for two years and we got a couple inches of snow a few times but never on Christmas. I think snow is beautiful. I love to look at it and play in it. As long as I don't have to drive in it then I am fine.

I've lived in Georgia before... the summer felt so hot the humidity killed me, but I loved how everything was green, the smell of magnolias, and fireflies... all things we don't have here in Utah.

It is snowing right now. We may get as much as a foot of snow. I did want to have snow for Christmas, but don't like to drive in it.

I hope your snow is big pretty flakes gliding softly to the ground and not this sand like snow that we have blowing in our faces. Yuck... I don't like to drive or walk in it. Snowboarding on the other hand sounds doable.

It has been cold but no snow in our area. I think a 30-minute drive to somewhere up the hills, there would be snow though. Right now, it's warmer than the last two days.

I wish I had to drive to the snow instead of driving in it... Yuck!
