The origanal with the older man walking in the snow remembering when he was a child and the year he built The Snowman (rumoured to be the auther Raymond Briggs himself), David Bowie all cheasy in an attic, with a jumper (recorded later and used instead for the US market.) or Mel Smith's Father Christmas (from that animation) sitting down to watch the Snowman? (done by Ch4 for the anniversery but sadly shown ever since)
and how wrong it is that you can't buy either origanal version in the same country that people have grown up with it? Going by angry reviews on amazon, IMDB and personal experience, it's only avalible in the Uk with the Father Christmas intro + a clip of David Bowie's, but the only US R1 dvd(s?) has our introduction instead.
