Which of the newly released movies did you see today (Christmas); and did you like it? Was it worth the trip to see it? Would you recommend it

I happened to see The Curious case of Benjamin Button a week before the official release and I loved it. There were certain downsides but overall the movie was great. I've never been one of the screaming girls adoring Brad Pitt for his pretty face but he's a very good actor. Surprisingly,I even liked Cate Blanchette even though usually I'm sceptic about her.

I havnt seen any movies yet even though I did want to see valkerie but after hearing the reviews I think Ill skip it and wait for it to come out on dvd unless if I hear more reviews on that movie. I also want to see the spirt which looks like it could be a very cool movie.

I could partake today either due to having to work but would have loved to have seen Marley and Me. The new Tom Cruise movie sounds good but like you I will probably wait for it to be released on dvd. Come back and review them for us when you get to see 'em.

It used to be a tradition to got to the movies on New Year's Day for my daughter but since my daughter had the kids it's not always a sure thing but we still try to go. Actually, when the kids were smaller it was harder to make it but now they're older and my granddaughter, who will be 12 but is more like 30, likes to go with us. My grandson, who will soon be 14, likes to go with us sometimes but his tastes in movies isn't always the same as us females...lol!
We're all torn this year but one movie we all want to see is "Marley and Me". We're also thinking about "The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons" and "The Day the Earth Stood Still". I hope to eventually see them all plus a few other new movies that look promising but with prices at the theaters the way they are most of them will probably have to wait until they come out on DVD or on HBO.

Thanks so much for the BR!
We ended up seeing "Seven Pounds", which was very good. We'd heard "Marley and Me" had a sad ending so we decided to hold off on that for now because of things that have happened in our family lately (my daughter and I have each lost a beloved cat recently and my mother passed away on Nov. 2) and "Benjamin Button" didn't have a showing that fit our schedule.

for soem reason it has a high rating
i found it to b okay
but its not my taste
but most of the other ppl liked it so mayb u will like it too!
