 This question was all over the net, since the popukarity of the WWW. For me,it's because of expressing my opinions to much greater audience, and also to learn from them. Sharing and giving are key points of why people blog.

For me two reasons why I started blogging:
First, to earn money through blogging. It is very hard but I learn that if you will always update your post, people will keep visiting your site and it will work out fine. It is for extra money or cash… it is like a sideline for me…
Second, I like to express my thoughts and share some knowledge about tech support at the same time, post some pictures about my life… It is like a journal for me that I like to keep updating… it gives me freedom of speech to say what I want… hehehe…

Like don't post your link to your blog or any referral link in a discussion.
