Marley and Me sets Xmas Record!

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28394518/ Twentieth Century Fox says “Marley & Me” has set a Christmas Day record with $14.75 million at the box office. i have to say i kind of surprised.. reading the reviews before it came out and hearing that its more depressing than bambi and old yeller put together made me automatically not wanna see it.. especially something sad on xmas.. but i guess this year was full of surprises if mamma mia beat titanic in the box office in the uk.. lol.. any one see marley and me and think it was worth the hype?

Nope, I have yet to catch that movie. In fact, I have not watched many movies since Batman. If it is a box office hit, the movie must be quite good. I will see if I can get the DVD at the local stores. Long weekend ahead. It would be good to catch up on some movies.

I saw the previews and didn't think much of them...seemed like another hyped up movie trying to promote Jennifer Anniston and not to crazy about her..I really don't see what the big deal was but then i'm different then most so i'll wait till it comes out on tv and check then..

i hate jennifer anniston too but the dog reminds me of my dog which is the only reason i wanted to see it.. my dog can/was a hell raiser so seeing another demon lab would be funny haha

14.75 million is some thing. It is a collosal amount of money. It must be really popular to gross so much on opening day. One can't afford tomiss such amovie.One must see it. I think I will when it releases here.
