I have never made a wish on new year as I dont believe in such things but I hope yours come true.In addition ,I doubt that I will be up at that hour ,from as far as I can remember I am always asleep at that hour.Maybe I will change that tradition and stay up and make a wish this year.

I dont know how and when I started but I think its something of a tradition in my country to do it like birthday wish. Its more of what you want to happen that year realisticly at least in my case thats what I wish for.

I have prayed before and we have a new year prayer but I lost it few years ago. With the wish is something that you want to happen that year. This year I wished for something that I never belived would happen or at least not in the near future but it did. And that is my miracle baby due in April.

yes, i do. i do it in a prayer. wouldn't it be good if we ask for God's renewed blessings in the coming in of another year in our lives? first, i say my thanks for having guarded me against all harm during the past year then, i ask for His continued guidance and shower of blessings. may there be better days coming in this year and may the good Lord make this year kinder and much easier to deal with than last year.
of course, if the year which is about to leave has been kind and good to me, i would ask for the continuance of the good days that i have been savoring for the past year of my life.
