Are you a Klutz like me? Sad but true ......almost injured xmas Eve!!!

OK and my fellow Mylotters, here is my sad but true confession of what a klutz I was over the Holidays. Sadly, I wish I can blame the following events on being under the influence of something, anything -- be it alcohol, meds, lack of sleep anything... But no there is no good explanation for the following events except that I am a klutz! Here's the story: My sister and I were getting ready for bed, and as I stated earlier neither of us were under the influence of anything... It was just after midnight. My sister turned off the light and so I was temporarily blinded in the darkness. At that precise moment I chose to go around the end of the dining room table towards my bedroom..... Thwack!!! I slam my hand and my wrist between my wheelchair and the dining room table. In a word, that I can use here on Mylot OUCH!!! So then, I'm in pain and I honestly believe that I could have broken my wrist. My sister heads to the freezer to get in some ice and then to get our mother to assess my injuries as well. Long story short, in the end I did not break my wrist, but it is bruised nearly from elbow to finger tips! Again, in a word OUCH! So, that is my confession of being a klutz, with nothing to blame it on but my own stupidity. Please share your condolences for my klutziness, as well as any confessions, or acts of stupidity you may have to share. As always, your comments are appreciated.
