Sub sandwich - Good but not on bad bread

I love a good sandwich, but to me a sandwich is only as good as the bread its made with for instance if the bread is slightly stale or if its made with a certain texture, I think it makes the sandwich instantly nasty no matter whats inside the sandwich, Iv always been funny about the taste and texture of certain breads and if the bread isn't right then the whole sandwich is wrong. dont you think so too?

I agree completely. The bread has got to be fresh and have a good texture. If I had to choose between stale bread and eating my sandwich toppings bread free I would pick bread free.

I love sandwich too.. and I think I have to agree to you that indeed, no matter what or tasty the inside is, if the bread does not taste or appear to be good, it is a wasted sandwich. I think it holds true to almost every one who loves sandwich, after all sandwich is composed more of bread than of the inside. Happy Holidays!
