New Year's Dinner  |

|  What do you typically eat for your final dinner/supper of the year? What about your first big meal of the New Year?
In my family, it has been tradition as long as I can remember to eat steak, shrimp cocktails, and lobster tails with baked potatoes, corn and hot rolls, for our final meal of the year.
As for our first big meal of the New Year, we have always had ham with potatoes and caroots, hot rolls and black eyed-peas.

| |  we plan on booking into a hitel for a big five course meal with music and entertainment. Dinner on new years day really all depends on how we feel the next day. We mat eat in or just to to a restaurant.

| | My husband and I will host the new year's dinner for the relatives. I have just settled the munu, which is a tough job, but I enjoy it.
We ordered a round table for 16. In a formal Chinese dinner, we start with cool dishes, then the hot dishes and soup, and Dianxin, the little lovely flour made, to end with. When selecting the dishes, I recall what were most liked, what suit my mother, what well accompany wine or beer, and what my grandson is keen on.
Design of the dishes, color of the food, and luck representing names should all be in consideration. The new year is approaching, and I am expecting a happy gathering. | | | | | | |
