Gaming system | | I am not a hard core gamer as most of you users are, One of the biggest reason for this is my computer system is pretty old.
What i would like to know from all you senior members is what kind of gaming rig do you guys prefer for PC based games.
Is there any specific feature you look for when assembling/upgrading your gaming machine?
Do let me know what you feel about this.
Take care.

My friend's got a Gigabyte motherboard with Core2Quad processor. His videocard is something like Nvidia GeForce 9600 or something like that. He has 2 2Gb DDR2 RAM installed. His computer is pretty much powerful and can play newer games with ease. He bought it at around 30,000+ pesos.

I stay in India, i will check how much the hardware you have mentioned costs here.
Thanks a lot buddy, Take care.

modstar (4959) | 1 year ago | My friend told me that most games now only requires 2Gb of ram so i think you can play Call of Duty with it. My friend even encountered a game which runs erroneously on a 3Gb or higher RAM.

TenmaMetsuki (288) | 1 year ago | The most important thing is to have a high-capacity disk, with lots of Gigabyte storage capacity, but that only applies to the C: disk, because the more empty space in it, the smoother your applications/games/etc will run, so installing your games into other disks like D: or or H: or whatever you may have is a very wise decision. Also, a minimum of 1GB RAM is recommended if you want gameplay as smooth as possible. And like the fellow that answered said, a high quality graphics card like nVidia GeForce 9600 and whatnot is needed for high-quality graphical games, and the game you wanting to play is definitely one of them.
But just as an assurance, you can just ask an expert technician of computers, he should know well

Installing games on a separate drive sounds like a very good idea.
Thanks for replying. Take care.
