First of all, who is that? I think I remember hearing that name before on the international news. I think this mother was obviously mad as I am going to assume she killed her own child. No sane mother would do that to her child.

Hi celtic! The name of the book is "It". That sounds like
an interesting name. It is about someone who was abused and
tortured by his mother. How sad. I just can't deal with the
fact that there are actually people on this earth that gave
birth that should never have! It is just a freak of nature,
I guess. As was with Caylee Anthony. That story alone makes
me so sick. How could a woman kill her own child? I just
can't fathom something so sick. I want this woman to suffer
and die! Can you tell me a little bit more about this book
and this person. Although I think it will upset me too much
to even ask or consider reading something like this. I get
to emotional about this sort of horrificness caused by someone
who is supposed to be a "mother"???

i've read this book about 3 years ago, and it is unforgettable.. the horrors that Dave Pelzer went through was just too much that sometimes i would have to put the book down first.

it makes some people realize how lucky they are to have a loving mother and family.

but what's more amazing was how Dave was able to go through it all and came out an inspiration to all of us. It was also a testimony that although there are really bad things in life, there will always be someone that would lend you a hand and help you out. Although it took a while for him to be saved, at least he was lucky enough to have his teachers who did the intervention.

This is exactly why whenever people say to know about kids you have to have given birth, I can't believe that. Because look at these monsters. Anyone with working parts can give birth, but it takes more to properly care for and love a child.

The Caylee Anthony story just sickens me. That lady and her parents too should be locked up. I'm betting they were all in on disposing of that body. Poor kid never had a chance.

On one hand I am amazed, from my primitive side, that such things occur. However, I am aware that the cycle of non-nurturing gets passed down from one generation to another. In effect, nurturing/caregiving, is being bred-out of many humans. A frightening thought where some people will be in a few hundred years.
