So everyone, how was your New Years Eve? Did you have a lot of fun, go anywhere, drink too much? Mine was very uneventful, unfortunately, but thats ok. I just stayed over at a friends house, watching tv. I couldnt even drink anything cause we cant afford it, sad, but at least it was quiet and safe and noone got hurt which is the important thing. So how was yours?

You are so true, the important thing is you had fun and no one got hurt.
We stayed in. My husband, daughter and I . I made pizza subs, potato skins and chips and dip. We did have a few drinks, but not too much. We watched some videos and tv. All of us were really tired by 11:30, but managed to stay awake and ring in the new year.

Well that actually sounds like a perfect way to celebrate the new year. You shouldve invited me lol. I never heard of pizza subs before, but it sounds delish cause I like both pizza and subs. The rest sound real yummy too. I was very tired too, but I stayed up watching tv. Thanks for sharing.

Next year I will send you your invitation :)
Pizza subs are my favorite. They are exactly that... a sub roll with pizza sauce, pepperoni and cheese, then baked in the oven~ yummy!

My New Year's Eve was very boring. It snowed so much here that they cancelled the disability van service which meant I couldn't go out. Normally, I would have had a friend pick me up in a car on New Year's Eve but it was too icy to risk getting in a car. I don't stand up well especially when there's ice. Not surprising, as I'm in a wheelchair. I stayed at home, posted, and wrote. It was productive but it was boring. I did watch the ball drop. I'm looking forward to next New Year's Eve when I can walk (or roll in my wheelchair) to the downtown celebration without any major issues as long as it's not snowing or two degrees. It'll be a big change for me.

Oh I can understand when weather gets in the way. I wouldnt go out either, way too risky not to mention too many ppl who dont know how to drive whether its weather related or due to drinking too much. With disabilities, that just adds to the challenges I bet, but I hope next years new years is better for all of us, and weather safe. Thanks for sharing.

We had a nice quiet New Years Eve at home with our kids. I am not really into the bar scene. I figure it is a waste of money and you don't fell very good the next morning and you don't have to worry about being hit by a drunk driver if you are at home. Happy New Year.

I couldnt agree with you more. Id much rather spend it in the privacy of either my home or someone elses and stay the night. Ive never been into the bar scene either. Its cheaper and safer to drink at home, but not too much cause I too dont like getting drunk to where I feel it the next day or the 'ejection' process that goes along with overdoing it lol, not to mention dealing with the drunk drivers on the road.

My new years ever was okay, not how I expected it to be. Nothing like really, but I just went along with what happened and started doing this random stuff, aha! But yea you heard me, my new years wasn't how I expected... But it was fun anyhow.
Oh and also, one more thing to leave on this response... Aha, Happy new year! And I hope you succeed in your new years resolutions or resolution!

Well at least you didnt get sick from drinking too much or get hurt lol, so thats something to be thankful for. I think its ok to have an uneventful holiday though. Sometimes its a nice change of pace, even though I wouldve preferred to be elsewhere. Happy New Year to you also and hope you succeed in your resolutions also. Thanks for sharing.
